Tickets for Loughborough Lightning’s opening matches of the 2025/26 season are on sale now, priced from just £10 adult (18+), £5 juniors (11-17) and £3 child (3-10) during the Early Bird window.
Following a six-month break since the conclusion of the 2024/25 Premiership Women’s Rugby season, Nathan Smith’s side return to competitive action in the PWR Cup on Saturday 23 August (Doors open: 11am, Kick-off: 12pm) as they take on Sale Sharks.
That will be followed by a second home cup game against Saracens on Saturday 6 September (Doors open: 1pm, Kick-off: 2pm).
With cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens unavailable while the venue hosts several 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup matches, Lightning will play both of their home Cup fixtures on the rubbercrumb pitch at Epinal Way, Loughborough University.
The African Violets ended last season in fine form, winning five of their last seven games – and while several members of the squad will be away competing at the Women’s Rugby World Cup, an exciting group of young players will be champing at the bit to impress in PWR Cup action.
All Lightning Season Ticket Holders for the 2025/26 campaign will be able to attend the PWR Cup fixture against Sale Sharks and Saracens free of charge – simply give your name and show proof of ID at the entrance once you arrive at Epinal Way’s rugby ground. Season Tickets are still available HERE, priced* from just £65 (adult) and £30 juniors.
Match tickets for both Lightning vs Sale Sharks and Lightning vs Saracens are now available within an Early Bird window to purchase direct from Loughborough University HERE, with tickets priced* from just £10 (adult 18+), £8 (concession), £5 (junior 11-17) and £3 (child 3-10). All children under the age of three can attend free of charge.
The Early Bird windows will close on Tuesday 5 August (Sale Sharks) and Tuesday 12 August (Saracens), when prices will rise to £12 (adult 18+), £10 (concession), £7 (junior 11-17) and £4 (child 3-10). Tickets will also be available to be purchased on the day in person by card payment only.

- Car Parking will be available at Loughborough University in Car Park 9 – entry via East Entrance (view map).
- Parking will cost £1.20 for the day.
- An ANPR parking system is in operation at Loughborough University. All vehicles entering campus will now need to pay for their parking through one of the following methods:
